Ubiquiti G4 Doorbell – Installation Guide
The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect G4 Doorbell is an advanced, privacy-focused smart doorbell with no subscription fee and some innovative features.
Installation of this doorbell is a simple process, using your existing doorbell wiring. Below you will find a handy step-by-step guide, with a choice of reading or watching a how-to video.
1. Choose between the flat or angled mounting bracket. Use bubble-level to ensure straightness
2. After tightening the bracket, it’s time to connect the doorbell to the wired adapters
3. Slide the spade wire adapters behind each terminal and tighten well
4. Squeeze adapter, insert wire and release, then tuck wires and adapters into wall
5. Click your new doorbell onto the mounting bracket and turn circuit breaker on
6. Download the UniFi Protect app and follow instructions to finalise the setup process
