Nice looking product and the service from 4gon was great. Unfortunately it does not work. This was bought as a backup for when my main broadband fails.

Setup was easy and it the management interface is very powerful with a lot of great features. I upgraded the firmware to the latest version shortly after receiving the unit.

I have a 4G issue in my area so it was a good test to see how it would handle 4G that was poor.

The device does not maintain a connection well if the 4G drops. It loses the whole wifi network. It requires a complete reset to get it to work again. You can't reconnect to the Wifi at all if there is a problem with the 4G.

It requires password every time. I am using a modern apple computer and they are normally very good from a network pov. The distance between computer and device was about 2m of clear line of sight.

The connectivity worked fine if I used a network cable.

I would avoid this product as I have had more problems than I would have expected
