We're using this as an AP to cover our yard and out buildings with huge success. Even keeping the power UK legal, the sensitivity and output is amazing, I'm writing this from my smartphone about 70 meters from the NS and even though a sheet metal wall, a timber clad wall, and both sides of a fibre cement shed roof I'm having zero speed or connection issues. Even 300 meters away, through a tree, car windshield, and almost directly to the right side of the unit my phone can connect and receive the video streams from my three IP cameras!.
You never really know how successful these devices will be in the situation that you hope to use them, until you actually try them out for real but between this and a Nanobeam M2, UBNT have only amazed me with just how great these products are for the money.
