My experience with this AP is it doesn't live up to its Long Range claim. I have been testing this at different ranges varying from 1m to 15m and the performance drop is not acceptable for a device that claims "Excellent signal from AP" and "Excellent reception from smartphone".
So at
~ 1m i get 800Mbps connection and the throughput maxes out my internet connection
~ 5m i get 425Mbps connection and the throughput maxes out my internet connection
~ 10m i get 180Mbps connection and the throughput drops by ~50Mbps of my internet connection
~ 15m i get 42Mbps connection and the throughput drops by ~160Mbps of my internet connection
My internet connection maxes out at 200Mbps
For a claimed range of 183m i expect to get above 200Mbps connection at a range of 20m
The above test results where the best i managed to get and they used the 5Ghz radio. The results were a lot worse for the 2.4Ghz radio.
The obstacles at
~ 1m no obstacles
~ 5m a wooden outdoor office with windows
~ 10m a wooden outdoor office with windows
~ 15m a wooden outdoor office with windows + an external house wall (with windows in the line of sight)
