This equipment is probably designed for offices and other commercial premises, but I needed an Access Point high up in an outdoor building so was attracted to this because of the power over network cable function. This AP is connected to my home network, and is used to extend the range into the garden and the back of the house.
After many hours of wiring down to the building, I was so pleased that all it took to set up the AP was to load up the CD, plug into my modem router and answer a few questions, and bang, it was done!!!!
This is suitable for dometic equipment, it is connected to an apple extreme base station, and the software runs easily on my Macbook pro. I've connected iPhones, Macbooks, PC's etc to the wireless, all works great.
Finally, the software is also very very good, its great to see what devices are connected to the AP, and even the name of the device connected.
Truely first class, I would be delighted if a new version came out that could run both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz networks, and if they could run simultaneously, that would be incredible.
