Embedded with 802.11n/b/g 2.4GHz MIMO radio in IP50 dust-proof metal housing, the high speed (up to 300Mbps) and durable 4ipnet EAP200 Enterprise Access Point is designed for wireless connectivity in enterprise or industrial environments of all dimensions.

EAP200 makes the wireless communication fast, secure and easy. It supports Tunnel-based AP Management, business grade security such as 802.1X, and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA and WPA2). By pushing a purposely built button, 4ipWES (Press-n-Connect) feature makes it easy to bridge wireless links of multiple EAP200s for forming wider wireless network coverage. EAP200 also features multiple ESSIDs with VLAN tags; one EAP200 can emulate up to eight Virtual APs, great for enterprise applications, such as separating the traffics of different departments using different ESSIDs.

Supporting up to 300Mbps wireless speed with its 802.11n 2 x 2 MIMO solutions, EAP200 is perfect for bandwidth-hungry applications such as video surveillance, multimedia streaming over the wireless links. Its QoS – WMM feature ensures the quality of voice/ video when multiple applications are transmitting media and data over the air at the same time.

Multiple Virtual APs & Capability of Client Isolation

One EAP200 can emulate up to 8 Virtual APs (VAP), each with its own ESSID; namely, one AP can have 8 ESSIDs.
Each VAP appears to clients as an independent AP and its traffic and be associated with a VLAN ID.
Supports client isolation, isolated from each other under one AP

Tunneled AP Management

EAP200 can physically be deployed at any location with an IP network. Its WLAN can be logically incorporated into a remote 4ipnet Secure WLAN Controller that manages it through the internal network via secure tunnels.
With Tunneled AP Management, wireless clients associated to EAP200 can enjoy the network service provided by the remote 4ipnet Secure WLAN Controller.
