Ubiquiti airFiber NxN Scalable MIMO Multiplexer MPx4
The Ubiquiti airFiber NxN MPx4 is a MIMO multiplexer that increases the throughput of airFiber links by up to 400%, while simultaneously establishing redundancy without the need of additional antennas.
Ubiquiti airFiber NxN MPx4 Key Features
- 4x4 MIMO Backhaul Technology
- Multiplex (2) airFiber 5X radios*
- Aggregate Throughput up to 1+ Gbps
- Up to 1 Redundant Link
The Ubiquiti airFiber NxN MPx4 is a scalable MIMO multiplexer that combines multiple airFiber X radios on a single dish antenna for superior noise immunity performance, redundancy, and multi-Gigabit throughput. The Ubiquiti airFiber NxN MPx4 uses a common GPS timing reference meaning the radios work cohesively to deliver powerful, multi-Gigabit bridging performance for PtP links.
Precise GPS Synchronisation
Using a common GPS timing reference, the airFiber X radios work cohesively to deliver powerful, multi-Gigabit bridging performance for PtP links.
4x4 or 8x8 MIMO Backhaul Technology
Quickly mount multiple airFiber X radios on existing airFiber dish antennas for Plug and Play installation. You can use radio channels of different sizes – even adjacent channels with no guard band – and place them anywhere within the radio band.
Mounting Versatility
The airFiber NxN Multiplexer can be attached to most 5 GHz airFiber X or RocketDish™ antenna models. For any other antenna configuration, you can mount the airFiber NxN Multiplexer on a pole.
Reduced Tower Costs
Mounting multiple airFiber X radios on a single dish antenna maximises throughput and capacity in a clean, compact tower footprint, minimising tower costs.
True Redundancy
Multiple airFiber X radios with multiple carriers on multiple frequency bands provide the ultimate noise immunity and link redundancy performance.
Deployment Example
You can use multiple channels—even adjacent channels with no guard band—and place them anywhere within the radio band. Depending on model, either 2 or 4 airFiber X units can also be mounted.
Please Note: AirFiber units are not included with the AF-MPx4.
